A quotation given by Lux Rugs is valid for 7 days only.

Orders and Stock

Rugs ordered is subject to availability, which can change daily. If a product is out of stock or cannot be supplied for some reason, we reserves the right to cancel the order and refund the payment.

Product Discrepancies

Dye-lot variations occur in all handmade rugs and are unavoidable.  The customer must examine the product against its general intended purpose and normal use before accepting delivery thereof.

With items being handmade, there may be imperfections such as loose tufts, stitching or joins not matching 100% – this is an inherent quality of the fibres used and handmade process and will not be considered as a fault. If a you are not happy with any of these features, Lux Rugs needs to be notified within 7 days of receipt. 

Certain natural fibres have a unique smell – this is a natural occurrence either from being packaged for a long period or because of the fibre. This will not be considered a fault.

Certain fibres shed more than others – this too is a natural process and should subside over a few weeks. This will not be considered a fault. 

Lux Rugs will not accept any responsibility for rugs fading as a result of exposure to harsh sunlight. Fading as a result of exposure to sunlight will be accepted as fair wear and tear in line with the normal end use for which the rug is generally intended, even with rugs that are considered “outdoor.” Lux Rugs cannot stipulate the time frame of when fading will / will not occur.

Certain rugs can sprout where the fibres will come loose, creating a ‘tuft’. Please refer to the care instruction instructions on how to handle this.

Please refer to care instructions for all rug maintenance. Lux Rugs cannot be accountable for any items that have been cleaned/treated incorrectly.
